___________________________________________________________________________ Northwest Nexus: What's it's relation to halcyon.com? Q. What's the difference between Northwest Nexus and halcyon.com? A. They're two sides of the same coin. We like to say that Northwest Nexus does machines, and halcyon does people. Everything's handled by the same folks, though. Northwest Nexus is the name of the company, and halcyon.com is the domain name of set of machines that provide personal network services to our customers. Years ago, Ralph founded and ran halcyon.com; Ed founded and ran Northwest Nexus. They've been merged for a while now. We keep the two names because it gets us two listings in books and lists, and because there really is a different between the kinds (and prices...) of services we provide to individuals and to corporations of all sizes. Ever wonder why Procter and Gamble makes so many different toothpastes? So there's no room on the shelves for other manufacturer's toothpastes... If you need to recommend us, say Northwest Nexus. That's how we answer the phone, and how we're listed in the phone book.
